    Bob the Builder™-Project:Build It

    Exhibit Open Now through January 19th, 2009

    Whether it’s digging, lifting or hauling, Bob the Builder™ needs you!

    Bob the Builder™ and his Can-Do Crew invite aspiring builders and their families to help get the job done.

    This 2,500 square-foot hands-on exhibit is inspired by HIT Entertainment’s top-rated television series, Bob the Builder™.

    It replicates elements from Bob the Builder’s world, inviting exploration, inspiring teamwork and bringing environmentally friendly themes to life for children and families.

    Holiday Breakfast with Bob the Builder™ (and Santa too!)


    Thursday, December 18th and Monday, December 22nd
    Seating's are from 8:00am-9:30am & 10:00am - 11:30am each day

  • Enjoy a Bob the Builder™--Project Build It exhibit showing with other breakfast guests
  • Yummy cocoa and a kid-friendly continental breakfast buffet to round out the adventure!

    Caterpillar Cafe

    Our brand new Caterpillar Café is now open!

    AND…There is no longer a need to drool over the strangely real food in the Museum's Grasshopper Grocery and Butterfly Bistro!

    You can now enjoy Bob’s Builder Sandwich, and other fresh food and snacks, at the new Caterpillar Café. Answering the call for fresh food options we are partnering with the owners of Coffee's On to bring salads, sandwiches, baked items, tea, coffee and more to your Museum experience. The café uses local products such as Sunshine Dairy milk and yogurt, Longbottom Coffee & Tea, Pizza Schmizza, Cookie Monkey, and Marsee Bakery.

Exhibits

Building Bridgetown Exhibit
Come join the crew!!! In our hands-on 17-foot-high, 2 story house. Kids can panel a wall, connect plumbing fixtures, take measurements, lay sod, and build with blocks on our custom-designed building table featuring recessed lighting and mirrors.


Water Works Exhibit
Crank, funnel, pour, squirt, measure, float! Redirect water and see what happens. The better and wetter Water Works features a 12-foot high waterfall, a hand-cranked "conveyor belt" that carries water in whimsical recycled objects like mugs, kitchen tools, and even an old shoe.

      The Museum is humming with creativity every day!
    • The Garage is OPEN!!!! Friday-Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm
      Turn trash into treasures! For ages 5 and up, the Garage, our recycled art studio, is stocked with organized bins of recycled materials, a hot glue gun, a drill (a supervisor), and plenty of inspiration!
    • Storytime: Daily 11 am & 2 pm
      Activate your imagination while our expert storytellers grab your attention and lead you on a journey through a favorite book. Treehouse Adventure is a perfect place to relax and just listen, or jump up and down with the action in the story!
    • Clay Glazing: Saturday & Sunday 2pm-4:00 pm (Potter's Wheel: Wednesday from 2-4pm)
      Visit the most fun paint-your-own-pottery studio in town! Glaze already-fired bisque items, such as picture frames, plates, bowls, cups, ornaments and more, or make your own masterpiece! Please allow a week for pick-up, bisque is available for purchase.
